Step 1: Application Form
Fill out our application form. If you need help filling it out, we’re here to assist you.
Step 2: Informal Chat
Once we receive your application, we’ll invite you for an informal chat to get to know you better and share what you can expect as a volunteer. We’ll also explain what we’ll expect from you, so everything is clear from the start.
Step 3: Preparation and Training
All our volunteers complete a preparation course, which includes both online and in-person sessions. This covers important topics like child safeguarding and your role as a volunteer, so you feel fully equipped to support families.
Step 4: Ongoing Support
Once matched with a family, you’ll have regular supervision and guidance from your Family Support Coordinator. You’ll also have the chance to connect with other volunteers at coffee mornings, making it a friendly and supportive experience.
