New Opportunity. Specialist Parent Infant Mental Health Worker (PIMHS)


To lead the delivery of the Parent Infant Mental Health (PIMH) project funded through NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board, supporting new parents and infants across Leftwich and Northwich through group work and early intervention support.

About the Role

As a Specialist Parent Infant Mental Health Worker you will report to the Service Delivery Manager directly.

Support for Families

  • Deliver specialist parent infant mental health support to families during pregnancy and the early years.
  • Provide emotional wellbeing support to new parents through home visiting and group-based interventions.
  • Support parents to understand attachment, bonding, responsive parenting and infant emotional development.

– Location: Leftwich (Office base at New Images, Nixon Drive, Winsford) 
– 20 hours per week (2.5 days), worked flexibly in agreement with the Service Delivery Manager
– Salary: £30,030 FTE (£16,016 pro rata)
