We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Outreach Worker to join our team at Home-Start Warrington & Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families, helping them build confidence, routines, and connections within their communities.
About the Role
As an Outreach Worker, you’ll work directly with families, providing emotional and practical support, leading small group sessions, and helping parents access the resources they need.
– Location: Northwich & Winsford
– Hours: 37.5 hours per week
– Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
• Work with families to help them to identify what type of support they require
• Provide emotional and practical support to families.
• Lead and plan small group sessions.
• Encourage routine, promote play, and provide opportunities for families.
• Assist with budgeting, nutrition, meal planning, and home safety.
• Encourage parents to attend family groups and connect with community
resources.
• Multi-agency working – Liaise with referrers and network within the community.
• Participate in training and professional development.
